Healing in America Now Teaching in Chicago

Healing in America (HIA) believes that everyone has the innate ability to heal themselves and others. World-renowned healer Harry Edwards founded the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH) in England in 1954, and now the largest energy healing organization in Europe has begun teaching in Chicago through its U.S. affiliate, Healing in America.

An introductory class, Your Health Is In Your Hands – Literally, will be held  from 7 to 8:30 p.m., on September 5, in Wilmette.

The NFSH healing method is well accepted by the UK medical system because of its high level of professionalism, healer certification program and its Healers’ Code of Conduct. Illinois classes are taught by Nancy O’Donohue, co-author of the international bestseller, The Wind Is My Mother, and Sr. Roselyn Heil, FSPA.

HIA wants to have energy healers working in hospitals around the country. Students include medical doctors, nurses, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners and people that are completely new to healing, but have a desire to help others.

Continuing education hours are available for nurses and massage therapists. For more information, call O’Donohue at 269-929-6796 or visit HealingInAmerica-Midwest.com.
