Plant-Based Wellness Retreat Promises Lasting Change

Whole foods, plant-based advocate Jill Keb is conducting her annual Walk the Beach Retreat in South Haven, Michigan. It begins at 6 p.m., Oct. 18, and ends at 1 p.m., Oct. 27. Participants may come all or part of that time. They will learn the science behind weight loss and major disease prevention. Because space is limited, the time can be tailored to individual focus.

       Along with Keb, a certified food educator and Food for Life instructor for the Physician’s Committee For Responsible Medicine, other speakers will include lifestyle consultant, registered dietician, international speaker, author and teacher Evelyn Kissinger.

       The retreat includes filling, nutritious meals, hands-on cooking classes, daily walks and exercise, personal consultations and an easy meal plan for continued optimal health. All of the food at the event is suitable for dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan lifestyles.
