Start the New Year Right

Sarah Karnes

Inner Balance, in Northbrook, will hold a workshop with Sarah Karnes titled, Showing Up for Your New Year, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., December 30. Participants will receive a guided year-end review to complete 2017 and create an inspired map of their ideal 2018.

Karnes, a mid-life coach and creator of the Your Self as Your Friend series, is offering this workshop to help bring more peace, joy and aliveness to the new year shift. She says, “The change from one year to the next can bring up both hope for starting fresh, as well as grieving around a loss or unfulfilled goals. Showing Up for Your New Year will lead participants through a compassionate year-end ‘review’ and then guide them in creating an inspired map for realizing their ideals in the new year.”

Inner Balance is a conscious, healing space that provides a wide array of mindful programs, many of which are free or accessible on a donation basis, for the general public. Ellen Katz, aka Radha, is a licensed psychotherapist, music therapist and life coach.

Cost is $20/$25 after Dec. 27. Location: 350 Pfingsten Rd., Ste. 107, Northbrook. RSVP at Meetup.com/spiritual-nourishment-chicagoland. For more information, call Karnes at 262-745-8362.
