Leukemia Research Foundation to Host Kids’ Party

The Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) will host Kids’ Party 2019 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., January 13, at the Westin Chicago North Shore, in Wheeling. This extraordinary party will include a fun day filled with brunch, activities, entertainment, prizes and music. Admission is free of charge to all pediatric blood cancer patients and their families. Kids’ Party 2019 provides a means of respite for the whole family.

          Attendance at Kids’ Party also serves as a great resource for cancer-related services. The LRF provides each family with information regarding its patient financial assistance program and patient education and outreach series at registration, inviting all to educate themselves about the new treatments, opportunities and services available. In addition, other cancer-related organizations are invited to attend, distribute information, perform activities and participate in the event.
