Sierra Bender Leads Day of Empowerment

Day of Empowerment with Sierra Bender, to be held April 21, at Northeastern Illinois University, in Chicago, is an inspiring and informative program that invites women to recognize and rejoice in their feminine power. This all-day event is geared toward women of college age and older.

Bender gives new meaning to the outdated notion that success and power for a woman means walking in a man’s shoes, teaching women how to break through the masculine/feminine divide to redefine fitness, beauty and power. This new definition is simultaneously an internal presence and external attitude.

Bender, author of Goddess to the Core and internationally known yoga instructor and motivational speaker, applies the Sierra Bender Empowerment Method (SBEM) in the Day of Empowerment, a unique multi-modal method utilizing the 4 Body Fit approach to holistic well-being. This approach builds a foundation of stamina, strength and suppleness on all levels—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The SBEM empowers women to face their fears, awaken their spirit, claim their worth, take command of their space and balance their emotions and mind, while remaining in their core feminine power.
