Inner Ecology Presents Chinese Herb Workshop

Chicago’s Inner Ecology certified herbal compounding pharmacy has partnered with The Land Connection, FamilyFarmed.org, Growing Power and the Ecovision Sustainable Learning Center to host the first training for Midwestern professional farmers in the domestic cultivation of Chinese medicinal herbs, from 3 to 6 p.m., February 3, at the Jane Adams Hull House Museum. The event will benefit patients, practitioners and the planet.

By joining 13 other pioneering businesses to register as a benefit corporation in Illinois, Inner Ecology is forging a fresh approach to social entrepreneurship within the field of East Asian medicine. The organization is striving to provide leadership as a dedicated local business to operate in a way that enhances human and environmental health and prioritizes social good over profitability.
