Light of Loving Kindness Presents Pop-up Clinic

Cassandra Powell

Nonprofit Light of Loving Kindness (LOLK) will stage an inaugural Hope, Healing, Health & Wholeness Pop-up Clinic beginning at 9 a.m., January 26, comprising a day of learning, self-reflection, hands-on practice, questions and answers, and healing in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. There’s no limit to the number of classes, workshops or private massage, reflexology, reiki, or light, sound and vibrational therapy sessions to enjoy during the day. Scientific evidence has proven that these types of energy healing modalities are beneficial for a number of ailments.

LOLK benefits underserved, marginalized, poverty-stricken and trauma-affected communities across Illinois and Indiana. They provide information and real-time practice of complementary treatments, healing modalities and non-medical resources to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and symptoms of many other conditions, in addition to providing tools for resiliency to individuals and communities.

Owner Cassandra Powell is a Chicago college professor, yoga teacher, trained shamanic practitioner, reiki master, certified sound, vibration and frequency therapist, and intuitive reader.
