New Location for Transcendental Meditation

Dr. Paul Morehead and Carol Morehead have opened a Center for Transcendental Meditation (TM) at 2734 Central Street, in Evanston. The TM Technique is an authentic yogic meditation, taken from the yoga sutras of Patanjali, and was brought to the U.S. by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. TM facilitates the core purposes of yoga, from improved health and well-being to enlightenment.

The couple trained with Mahesh and has been teaching the TM technique since 1973.

Published studies indicate that TM reduces anxiety, stress, cardiovascular disease, stroke and mortality from all causes. Many doctors (DoctorsOnTM.org) recommend TM, including TV’s Dr. Oz and noted psychiatrist Dr. Norman Rosenthal, M.D., discoverer of seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
