New Custom Team Events from Peterson Garden Project

Peterson Garden Project (PGP) now offers custom programs focused on food and community for team building, health and wellness and outreach initiatives, and also does private events in their kitchen and gardens.

President and Executive Director LaManda Joy states, “A day out of the office can do wonders for team productivity! We provide fun and meaningful team building experiences in our teaching kitchen and gardens. Crafted just for your group, a day with PGP can build team effectiveness, morale and provide a new, life-changing perspective on community and food.”

If a team wants to connect with the community, understand the food system from the ground up and get their hands dirty, there are special initiatives intended for groups of 10 or more. Smaller groups and individuals that just want to help for a day can visit the website’s volunteer page. The teaching kitchen and gardens are available to like-minded organizations and individuals for unique private experiences and supports PGP’s nonprofit mission.

Location; Community Cooking School at Broadway Armory Park, 5917 N. Broadway, Chicago. For more information about custom events, email [email protected] or visit PetersonGarden.org/custom-events
