Openlands Jubilee Celebrates 50 Years of Conservation

Openlands is proud to celebrate 50 years of conservation with a Songs of Praise: Celebrating Openlands Jubilee at 6 p.m., June 15, at the Lakeshore Preserve, in Highland Park, benefiting their work in protecting the natural and open spaces in northeastern Illinois and the surrounding region.

Set atop the towering Lake Michigan bluffs at the Openlands Lakeshore Preserve, guests will hear a live choral ensemble that will honor the group’s work and enjoy cocktails and a delicious dinner provided by Jewell Events Catering, as well as view the stylings of Designs by Jody.

Openlands President and CEO Jerry Adelmann says, “Songs of Praise is an opportunity to celebrate our achievements, none of which would have been possible without the generosity of innumerable supporters throughout the years.”
