Blending Eastern and Western Medicine at Serenity Family Wellness

Dr. Kristine Tohtz (Dr. Kris) has opened Chicago’s newest holistic wellness clinic, Serenity Family Wellness, at 641 West Grand Avenue. With nearly 15 years of experience, Tohtz is an innovative healthcare practitioner. Her patients receive highly personalized, expert diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatment in a welcoming, peaceful setting. A grand opening event will be held in July.

“Our patients view us as a vital partner in identifying and treating their challenges and maintaining their optimal health and wellness,” says Tohtz. “We achieve quality solutions by investing the time to forge a bond with each patient and learn their unique health history. We integrate Eastern and Western medicine to bring lasting healing.”

Tohtz and her team treat a variety of health issues, including fertility, pregnancy and breastfeeding challenges; insomnia; stress-related health problems; musculoskeletal pains; and digestive issues.

Tohtz graduated from the National University of Health Sciences, is a diplomate in acupuncture with the American Chiropractic Association’s Council on Chiropractic Acupuncture, holds an advanced certification in pregnancy and pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is a certified postpartum doula and yoga instructor.
