Water Sports Fun and Fitness Opportunities in Chicago Harbor

Chicago Water Sport Rentals (Chicago Paddle Rentals) is open for the season and ready for fun in the sun. Located at Chicago’s award-winning 31st Street Harbor, this premier company rents top-of-the-line personal water craft (PWC), Hobie MirageDrive kayaks, paddleboards and more. Starting in June, they are also offering fitness courses—including paddleboard yoga and Hobie Water Spin-Paddle spin classes. Both programs are also available for private parties, groups and health club extensions.

Mix up any yoga routine with paddleboard yoga, which employs an 11-foot paddleboard on the harbor’s calm waters, providing the best views of Chicago. The one-hour classes are offered seven times per week, or anytime by appointment.

For a great fitness class, the Hobie Water Spin-Paddle series is brand-new and exclusive to Chicago Water Sport Rentals. The Hobie MirageDrive is a robust, revolutionary, pedal-driven propulsion system that moves the kayak forward, just like riding a bike. Sessions vary in intensity and four, 70-minute classes are offered per week. The rental season lasts through October.

Location: 31st St. Harbor, south end of harbor, Dock J. To RSVP or register, call 312-924-7994 or visit ChicagoWaterSportRentals.com. Win a free class—visit NAChicagonorth.com/CHI/Contests for details.
