Taste of the Great Lakes Fundraiser Benefits Conservation Efforts

The Alliance for the Great Lakes will hold its annual fundraiser, Taste of the Great Lakes, from 6 to 9 p.m., June 18, at the Columbia Yacht Club, in Monroe Harbor. Locally sourced food and drinks from some of Chicago’s top restaurants and beverage makers will be featured, plus a live auction and more to celebrate more than four decades of protecting and restoring the Great Lakes.

The Alliance for the Great Lakes strives to conserve and restore the world’s largest freshwater resource through policy, education and local efforts, and works with area residents to enhance their understanding of ways they can help.
