This summer, anyone can learn how to relieve stress and tension using simple, relaxed touch. Zen Shiatsu Chicago will offer a 30-hour Beginning Zen Shiatsu class from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursdays from June 21 through August 23. Students learn a complete one-hour treatment that can be used with friends and family. No previous experience is necessary.

The class covers all the basics of how to give attentive, comfortable touch therapy. The shiatsu routine is effective for pain relief and offers benefits for internal organ health and emotional stress relief. Shiatsu is easy for people of any age or ability to give and receive. No special equipment is required, and recipients can remain fully clothed in soft, comfortable attire.

Register by June 15 to receive a $100 tuition discount and a free, professional, 90-minute shiatsu session. Location: 825 Chicago Ave., Evanston. To register, call 847-864-1130 or visit ZenShiatsuChicago.org.
