New Eye Wellness Clinic Opening in Evanston

Evanston Eye Wellness, located at 716 Main Street, in Evanston, will begin accepting new patients on March 1. Optometrist Dr. Deana LaBrosse offers medical and routine eye care using an integrative approach. The new clinic features a Dry Eye Center, natural eye care products and full optical services.

LaBrosse is a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry, with extended training in ocular nutrition and homeopathy for the treatment of eye conditions, and has earned distinction for her work in low vision rehabilitation and contact lenses. She was named Young Optometrist of the Year by the Illinois Optometric Association in 2008.

Because 80 percent of our interaction with the world takes place through our vision, LaBrosse believes that the goal of eye care should not only be to address today’s problem, but to offer guidance on preserving vision for a lifetime. An Evanston Eye Wellness examination includes a comprehensive lifestyle conversation to understand how each patient uses their vision throughout the day and assist in early detection of diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
