Zero In on Food Allergies and Sensitivities

Marcy Kirshenbaum

Certified Clinical Nutritionist Marcy Kirshenbaum, owner of Enhance Nutrition, LLC, works with individuals motivated to address their health conditions through lifestyle changes. She says, “By listening to and understanding a client’s concerns, needs and symptoms, I create unique nutritional protocols designed to move you toward your health and wellness goals.” Whether someone wants to start with small steps or jump all the way in, Kirshenbaum helps clients incorporate practical and sustainable changes.

To further target personalized nutrition, Kirshenbaum offers mediator release testing  (MRT), a food sensitivity test that identifies diet-induced inflammatory reactions. Unlike allergies, food sensitivities aren’t always obvious, even though they contribute to inflammation and conditions such as chronic migraines, digestive complaints, joint/muscle pain, fatigue and more. Based on the results, Kirshenbaum creates an individualized eating plan that eliminates the foods that she says “may be healthy in general, but may be toxic to you.”
