Evanston Green Ball to be at Levy Center

The Evanston Environmental Association and the City of Evanston will host the 2nd Annual Evanston Green Ball on Friday, May 31, from 7p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Levy Center in Evanston. This festive casual evening of food, drinks, and live music will help support and sustain the future of the Evanston Ecology Center, which has been an invaluable community institution dedicated to environmental education for almost 40 years.

There will be appetizers and drinks from more than 15 local restaurants, plus beverages from Goose Island, WineStyles, and Green River. Live music will be provided by Jonas Friddle and the Majority. A raffle will offer unique prizes, and you can even get your picture taken with one of the Ecology Center’s resident animals. Local green groups will have informational displays.

Tickets sold out last year, so be sure to get your tickets right away. Visit www.evanstonenvironment.org/greenball.html for details.

Location: Levy Center, 300 Dodge Avenue, Evanston. Early bird tickets are $55 until May 3. Free parking is available.
