5K Run & Walk Recognizes Clinical Trial Volunteers




The independent, nonprofit Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) will host a Medical Heroes Appreciation 5K Run & Walk in Chicago from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m., June 19, at Burnham Park to celebrate volunteers that give the gift of participation in clinical research and to raise awareness about the importance of clinical research in advancing public health.

              All proceeds from the 5K, held in conjunction with the Drug Information Association (DIA) annual meeting, will support clinical research education and outreach programs for patients and their families in minority and underserved communities.
