Heartwood Moves to the Dodge/Darrow Community

Heartwood Center for Body Mind Spirit celebrates the beginning of its 11th year at the forefront of holistic healthcare with a move to the Dodge/Darrow community, in western Evanston. A formal grand opening will be held there from 6 to 9 p.m., December 9.

Heartwood has more than 25 dedicated holistic healing professionals who provide an integrative approach to healthcare to community members. Healing modalities include Hakomi, with new practitioner Mark Repplinger; massage therapies, with Louise Rosenberg; both traditional and body-centered psychotherapy; acupuncture; and Reiki. Classes include meridian yoga, taught by Colleen Hubbard; Iyengar, hatha and Viniyoga; Tai Chi; meditation; pranayama; focusing; and Bollywood dance.

Heartwood supports local not-for-profit programs, including the Woman and Cancer Program and the Tibet Girls School.
