Greenheart Showcases Local Activists

Greenheart Transforms presents a daylong event: How do you Envision a World Transformed? from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., November 18, at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, featuring Chicago change-makers making a positive difference in their local communities. Everyone is invited to enjoy exhibits, inspiring presentations, music, meditation and an organic vegetarian lunch.

Guests can learn about Chicago’s exciting movements while listening to presentations from guest speakers like John Edel, of The Plant; Sarah Elizabeth Ippel, of The Academy for Global Citizenship; Neli Vasquez-Rowland, of A Safe Haven; author Philip Comella; Bob Schwalb, of Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers; Tim Boyd, president of the Theosophical Society in America; Emanuel Kuntzelman, president and founder of Greenheart; and global healer and speaker Sonia Choquette.

Presenters will share stories of the personal tipping point that inspired them to take their first steps in creating change and inspiring and motivating others to do the same. Attendees will be inspired to join the movement by connecting with like-minded networks, and gather tools and resources to help create change within the local and global community.
