Chiropractor Deane Nurtures the Triangle of Health

Dr. Eunice Deane

Dr. Eunice Deane, a chiropractic physician in Chicago, believes the role of chiropractic is laying the foundation for total health. She states, “One could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house; certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly.” Deane assesses and treats the triangle of health: structure, biochemistry and emotions. Lab tests include hair biopsy, blood, urine and saliva.

Deane graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1998 and has extensive post-doctorate training in applied kinesiology, acupuncture, chiropractic internal medicine, chiropractic neurology and brain-based, brain-balancing therapy, learning disabilities, autism, ADD, ADHD, nutrition and homeopathy, physical therapy/rehab, neuro-emotional and energy techniques.

Deane describes the phases of chiropractic care as relief care, usually the pain that prompts the initial visit; corrective/restorative care, the phase when muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, helping to prevent further injury or pain; and wellness care, when the body has fully healed and the patient is no longer experiencing back pain or other pain symptoms. Deane notes it is important to come in for periodic chiropractic adjustments, when loss of function first occurs, to avoid further problems in the future.
