Guided Tree Walk in Gillson Park




Go Green Wilmette is sponsoring a family-friendly tree walk from 10 to 11:30 a.m., October 5, at Gillson Park, in Wilmette. Participants will learn to identify trees, how to protect their trees from environmental stresses, the benefits of planting native species and which trees might work best in their yard.


Admission is free. Location: Sheridan Rd. and Michigan Ave., Wilmette. Meet at the Wallace Bowl. Dogs on leashes are welcome. For more information, visit GoGreenWilmette.org.
