Learn About Women’s Health Issues

Nicole E. Williams, M.D., FACOG

Holistic Gynecologist Nicole E. Williams, M.D., FACOG, founder of the Gynecology Institute of Chicago, will present Sex, Chocolate and Your Pelvic Floor in an interactive and educational evening to discuss sexual and pelvic health from 6 to 8 p.m., October 5, at the Institute. Williams will educate women about the power of the female pelvic floor.

According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately 24 percent of women suffer from pelvic floor disorders ranging from painful sex to urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Many are unaware that there are treatments available and suffer in silence.

Williams, Jennifer Hungate, a pelvic floor physical therapist, and Searah Deysach, a sex educator from Early2Bed, will discuss diet and specific exercises to promote a healthy pelvic floor and improved sexual function. Complimentary door prizes, champagne and dark chocolate are included.

Admission is free and donations to the Women’s Health Foundation are welcome. Location: 1147 S. Wabash Ave., Ste. 200, Chicago (above Trader Joe’s). To RSVP, email [email protected]. For more information, call 312-929-9191 or visit GynecologyInstitute.com. See ad in the Community Resource Guide.
