World Peace Through Inner Peace

If we are to find world peace in a world where violence and hate exists, we must find inner peace. Meditate and cultivate a shared awareness of our common humanity and solidarity with the world. Infinity Foundation, in Highland Park, will conduct a Meditate-A-Thon from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 21.

Attendees should bring a mat or blanket to lie on or a floor cushion to use if they would prefer it instead of a chair. No meditation experience is needed. Proceeds go toward sustaining Infinity’s building fund. A light lunch and snacks are included.

Attendees may arrive at any time and stay as long as they like. Hourly meditations start at 9:30 a.m. with Claudia Lubin – Guided Visualization for Inner Peace; Marian McNair – Sound Healing with Crystal Bowls; Therese Evans – Connecting with Angels; Michelle Flore – Gong Meditation; Mark Anthony Lord – Guided Spiritual Meditation for Peace; Kirtan – Joyful Chanting with the Bhakti Caravan; and Savitia Jachim – Oneness Blessing Meditation.

Cost is $75/$50 10 days in advance. Location: 1280 Old Skokie Rd., Highland Park. For more information and registration, visit InfinityFoundation.org.
