Go Green at Wilmette Environmental Fair

The sixth annual Wilmette Community Environmental Fair, Going Green Matters, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., March 11, at the Woman’s Club of Wilmette. There will be refreshments and fun activities for all ages. Bring batteries, electronics and Styrofoam for recycling.

The eco-fair, presented by Go Green Wilmette and the Village of Wilmette, will feature information booths, exhibitor displays and presentations on a wide variety of environmental topics. Highlights include the new Interactive Eco-Zone, a nature photography exhibit, the Plastic Bag Monster and the Go Green Café, offering tasty and healthful snacks. Admission is free for all ages.
