Inaugural Evanston Green Ball

The Evanston Environmental Association and the city of Evanston will host the inaugural Evanston Green Ball, from 7 to 11 p.m., May 18, at the Levy Center, in Evanston. A festive evening of food, drinks and live music will sustain the future of the Evanston Ecology Center, an invaluable community institution dedicated to environmental education for almost 40 years.

In a live auction, such unique prizes as behind-the-scenes tours of the Field Museum mammal collection and the Evanston water plant and its green roof, a kayaking tour and a home solar energy consultation will be awarded to the highest bidders.
