Charlotte Hammond, MS, RD, LDN, RYT

Concern about losing weight, preventing chronic illness, dealing with disease, work-life-food balance and ethical and spiritual eating concerns are all reasons to consult a professional nutrition expert—specifically, a registered dietitian.

Registered and Licensed Dietitian Charlotte Hammond, MS, RD, LDN, RYT, is the proprietor of Eating With Ease, providing integrative nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy for weight management, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, osteoporosis, special needs, bowel disorders, vegan/vegetarian diets, dietary transition, mindful eating, detoxification, safe supplementation and more.

She is also a hatha yoga instructor who integrates her knowledge of Eastern and Western traditions to help the whole person nourish mind, body and spirit. Hammond is available for grocery store tours, cupboard clean-outs, menu management and seminars.

Hammond advises, “Start your week right with a gift of yourself—to yourself—open-level hatha yoga to nourish your mind, body and spirit.” She teaches a class from noon to 1:15 p.m., Sundays, at Urban Lotus Yoga (UrbanLotusChicago.com), 2950 West Chicago Avenue, Suite 201, in Chicago. Cost is $10 and drop-ins are welcome.
