Become a Professional Herbalist

The Resiliency Institute is offering an eight-weekend Bioregional Herbalism Certificate course in 2015, meeting one weekend a month for eight months, beginning March 14 and ending October 18. The course is led by veteran herbalist Linda Conroy, founder of Moonwise Herbs and the Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference.

Participants will learn how to incorporate herbs into daily life to promote health and develop the skills to use herbs for everyday ailments and injuries. They will participate in plant walks to learn to

identify and harvest herbs seasonally for food and medicine. In the classroom, they will be guided through the process of transforming plants into herbal preparations. Each weekend includes instruction, plant walks, hands-on projects, snacks and time to reflect and ask questions.
