The Plant Sale of the Season Has Arrived

The plants for the Conserve Lake County Native Plant Sale don’t actually arrive until May, but conscientious cultivators can order ahead online and pick up their bounty later, so as not to get shut out of their favorite flora on sale day. Gardeners can shop on the website until May 3, choosing from more than 160 different species of native trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials. They will be able to pick up their purchases between May 14 through 16 at Almond Marsh.
For those that wish to shop in person, May 14 and 15 from noon to 8 p.m. are reserved for members, which also get a 10 percent discount. The public will be admitted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 16 and 17; noon to 3 p.m., May 18 to 22, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 23 and 24.
