Green Home Chicago Presents Evening Workshop and Networking

Green Home Chicago, celebrating its eighth year in business, presents the workshop, What is Quartz? from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., September 17. Networking prior to the event is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. The one-stop, eco-friendly interior design showroom will teach attendees the details of this most popular current material for hard surface countertops.

The city-based design center supports local and American-made products, local artists and artisans. Their green criteria includes recycled, non-toxic and sustainable materials. They focus on listening to customers, hearing their vision for their home or office and then helping them to create a space that’ll be healthy and functional and also look fabulous. Green Home Chicago does kitchen and bathroom remodeling, as well as offers furniture, drapery and flooring materials for purchase.

A Makers Show will be held on November 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with local artists and artisans selling their wares for the holidays. Artists interested in showing their work should email [email protected].
