Belsky Open House Marks Concierge Move to Highland Park

Lynne Belsky, M.D., of Living Well MD, will hold an open house event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., January 13, to celebrate her move from Northbrook to a new, sunny and cheerful office at 806 Central Avenue, Suite 204, in downtown Highland Park across from the post office. Flu shots will be available for $15 at the event.

Guests can meet the doctor and learn more about how a concierge physician model can work to improve the healthcare experience. Belsky states, “Rather than have just five minutes after a long wait time, patients receive 24-hour cell phone access for emergency calls, same- or next-business-day office visits, annual physicals and a physician who knows you and takes the time to learn about you.”

According to the American Academy of Private Physicians, there were about 4,400 private physicians in 2012, an increase of 25 percent over 2011. As the traditional healthcare system continues to be stressed, experts say concierge medicine will appeal to those that seek more hands-on care and immediate access to a doctor that knows their history.
