Free Lecture on Digestive Health

Dr. Richard Bisceglie is offering a class on digestive health at 7 p.m., May 23, at the Center for Holistic Medicine, in Deerfield. When our body doesn’t absorb food properly it can cause diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, indigestion, cramping and constipation. Participants will learn about the causes of inflammation in the digestive system; long-term effects and chronic issues that dysfunctional digestion can cause; and the process of reversing these issues with a simple medical food program.

Bisceglie is board certified and licensed as a doctor of naprapathic medicine with the state of Illinois and a national board-certified nutritionist specialist. Naprapathy is the art and science of gentle soft tissue manipulation.
