Logan Square Farmers’ Market is Open This Winter

The Logan Square Farmers’ Market will remain open for business indoors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays through March 26, 2017, at the old Pierre’s Bakery. The market will hold a special holiday farmers’ market on Thursday, December 22, from 3 to 8 p.m.

The outdoor season will start again the second Sunday in May. The market features staple items and specialty goods from seasonal soups to vegan and goat milk soaps, vegan pantry staples, cheeses, tofu, cured meats, juice, seasonal pies, breads and locally grown and milled flours, among other items. A breakfast nosh or lunch is available on-site.

This producer-only farmers’ market hosts only vendors that grow or produce their own food and agricultural products, including seasonal produce and humanely pasture-raised livestock. At least three farms grow within Chicago. Bakers, processors and prepared food are sourced locally as permitted. In 2016, it was named the Best Farmers’ Market in Chicago by Chicago magazine.

Closed on November 27, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Location: 2755 N. Milwaukee Ave. (at Spaulding). For more information and a full schedule of events, visit LoganSquareFarmersMarket.org.
