World Peace Through Inner Peace

Meditate-A-Thon, serving as a way to find inner peace in a world where violence and hate exists, will be held from 1 to 10 p.m., December 3, at the Infinity Foundation. Participants will meditate and cultivate a shared awareness of our common humanity and solidarity with the world.

        Hourly meditation leaders include Billie Topa Tate with guided meditation and a Native American drumming song of peace; Petra Sliwiak with gong meditation for peace; Claudia Lubin with guided visualization into higher frequencies of the conscious and subconscious mind; Yolanda Lazano with the blissful tones of Indian and Tibetan singing bowls during savasna and meditation; Frani Rubens with heart-centered meditation; Marian McNair with sound healing and crystal bowls; and Mark Anthony Lord with guided spiritual meditation for peace. Kirtan: Joyful Chanting with The Bhakti Caravan, will take place at 5 p.m.

        Proceeds go toward sustaining Infinity’s building fund. BYO mat or blanket. No meditation experience is needed. Light snacks will be served and socializing will take place at the conclusion of the meditate-a-thon.
