Healthyon Institute, in Glenview, is accepting new patients at its Glenview location with a focus on personalized functional medicine. Healthyon founder Irina Tutunikov, DO, FAARM, ABAARM, believes that functional medicine provides a better approach to finding the root causes of many diseases and a more personalized care for the patients.
She states, “At the Healthyon Institute, we believe that longevity and quality of life can be increased through principles of functional and anti-aging medicine, and that physiological dysfunctions caused by chronological aging can be alleviated. We understand that each person is unique, so we take the time to give you the attention you need and deserve.”
Tutunikov is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in Metabolic, Nutritional, Functional, Regenerative and Anti-Aging medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the Institute for Functional Medicine.
