Amma is Coming to Chicago

Mata Amritanandamayi, the beloved spiritual leader and international humanitarian, will be visiting Chicago from June 24 through 26. Known as Amma (mother) for her selfless love and compassion toward all beings, she powerfully impacts those who meet her with her embrace (darshan).

       Embracing the World (EmbracingTheWorld.org), Amma’s global charity, supports educational programs, disaster relief, housing, schools, orphanages, hospitals, environmental initiatives and more.

       Enjoy Amma’s free Chicago programs—her teaching, darshan, singing and meditations. Live music, healing arts and delicious vegetarian food are available throughout the programs. Visitors should arrive early to get a token for a place in line.

       All morning programs begin at 10 a.m., tokens available at 8 a.m.. On June 25, the evening program begins at 7 p.m.; tokens are available at 5:30 p.m. On June 26, the evening program with Devi Bhava begins at 7:30 p.m.; tokens are available at 5 p.m. Mantras are given at this program only. Amma says, “Where there is true love, anything is effortless.”
