Learn to Cook with Living Foods

Chef Ruslan

The Purple Sprout Cafe and Juice Bar, in Wheeling, will conduct a Living Foods for Better Life non-cooking interactive class and dinner at 6:30 p.m., July 18. The class will address the benefits of raw foods; share tips on successfully incorporating more of raw foods into our diets; unravel the secrets for awesomely delicious and seriously satisfying raw rolls; watch 9-year-old Chef Ruslan make what customers often refer to as the best Key Lime pie they have ever tried; and enjoy mouth-watering creations.

Owner and chef Irina Kuznetsova says, “The Purple Sprout family has enjoyed a journey of self-healing from poor physical and mental health to living vibrantly and joyfully—from standard American diet to mostly raw, plant-based, gluten-free, oil-free, sugar-free and low-fat, realizing the strong connection between body, mind and spirit, giving up corporate and medical careers and now helping the community to live healthier, happier, more natural and fulfilling lives.”
