The Buckinghams’ Tufano Headlines Musical Fundraiser

The Italian-American Human Relations Foundation of Chicago and host George Walsh will present Dennis Tufano with “Soundtrack” - Life’s Musical Journey, at 6 p.m., September 23, at the Copernicus Center. Doors open at 5 p.m.

       Tufano is the original voice of the 60s pop group The Buckinghams. He will take the audience through his “Life’s Musical Journey” performing hits like Kind of a Drag, Don’t You Care, Hey, Baby, They’re Playing Our Song, Mercy Mercy Mercy, Susan and many more.

       The show also features The Chicago Experience, the nation’s premier tribute to the legendary pop/rock group Chicago, with special guest Anthony Rago, a popular local actor and TV personality. A VIP meet and greet option is available.

       Event co-chair Janet Davies is a longtime member of ABC7 news team. The winner of 16 Emmy awards, she is a veteran entertainment reporter, as well as the creator and host of 190 North, the longest-running magazine show in Chicago. Co-chair Cheryl Tufano Crompton, a great friend to the Italian-American community, is a lifelong fan and sister of Tufano.
