The hybrid seventh annual Faith in Place Green Team Summit, Rooted Together, to be held from September 11 through 14, will connect like-minded and like-hearted people to explore the intersection of attaining justice, healing work and climate resilience.

Across six sessions, participants will engage with faith and indigenous leaders from across the Midwest to lead practices and reflections from their traditions. In addition to the virtual component, regional watch parties will be hosted in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Dr. Katharine Hayhoe will deliver a live keynote address with Q&A from 5 to 6:30 p.m., September 11, exploring her latest book, Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World.

For more than 20 years, Faith in Place has connected communities of diverse backgrounds, faiths and spiritualities to work toward environmental care and justice.
