Highland Park residents and others interested in electric vehicles (EVs) will have an opportunity to explore a wide range of models and speak directly with local owners during an EV show from 9 to 11 a.m. on April 25. The program, held at the Ravinia Festival parking lot, is part of Drive Electric Earth Month and is presented in association with the City of Highland Park’s Arbor Day celebration.
Organizers say the program is designed to help people learn about the practical and environmental benefits of electric transportation while addressing common misconceptions. Conversations with owners will provide insight into what daily life with an EV is like, including performance, convenience and the potential to reduce gasoline use and emissions.
Location: 301 Ravinia Park Rd., Highland Park. For more information, visit DriveElectricEarthMonth.org/event?eventid=5101.
