Skin Care Week at Walsh Natural Health

Walsh Natural Health, in Evanston, will present The Skinny on Skin Care, a weeklong free event focused on your skin’s health, from April 16 to 21. The skin is the body’s first line of defense and a good barometer of our overall health.

Activities during the event will teach you about skin nutrition, including the key nutrients that fortify the skin from the inside out. Also, stop by to get suggestions on what to do about problem skin, the importance of safe sunscreens and find out why using natural skin care is environment-friendly.

Demonstrations, mini-makeovers, samples and gifts with purchase will be offered during the week. A local aroma therapist will talk about the benefits of essential oils for the skin, with special discounts on all of the skin care lines Walsh offers, including Dr. Hauschka, John Masters, Bodhichitta, Eco Logical, Weleda and others.
