The Seven Chakra Sisters Meet Chakradance at ‘Rock Your Chakras’

Dr. Linda Rosenthal and Gail Johnson have teamed up to present The 7 Sisters Meet Chakradance for a Rock Your Chakras Workshop Event, from 1 to 5:30 p.m., April 12, at The Yoga Effect, in Grayslake, and from 1 to 5:30 p.m., April 13, at Heaven Meets Earth Yoga Studio & Center for Conscious Living, in Evanston.

In this exciting original workshop afternoon, participants will learn about the chakras in a brand-new way with a powerful presentation that brings the “personalities” of the seven chakra sisters to life. Color, visuals, music, fact and fantasy will blend to help bring your magnificent energy body into everyday awareness.

“This is a life-changing, healing and personal growth process that is unlike any I have experienced,” says Lisa Faremouth Weber, founder and owner of Heaven Meets Earth. Weber is training to be a Chakradance facilitator and will be launching the program locally and throughout the Midwest.

Chakradance takes us on a transformative journey into the self, using creative visualizations, specific music, freestyle dance movements and mandala art that will help you further explore, experience and balance the chakras. No dance experience or knowledge of chakras is necessary. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bare feet, and bring water.

Rosenthal is the founder of Insight Out Visionary Healing Arts, and has been introducing The Seven Chakra Sisters to standing ovation audiences across the country since the release of her award-winning book, The Seven Chakra Sisters ~ Make Friends with the Inner Allies Who Keep You Healthy, Laughing, Loving, and Wise, in June 2013.

Johnson has served as the premier United States Certified Chakradance facilitator since 2009 after completing the comprehensive, nine-month Chakradance training program, which includes aspects of Jungian theory and a deeper understanding of the chakra system.

Heaven Meets Earth, the North Shore’s only “green” yoga studio and healing boutique, is rooted in vinyasa and kundalini yoga systems with emphasis on asana, pranayama and meditation. Staff includes the region’s top healers and yoga practitioners, teaching classes for individuals, couples, mothers and babies, parents and children, and teens.
