Hosted by Conscious Evolutionaries Chicagoland (CEC), Barbara Marx Hubbard will present Fulfilling the Promise of Humanity; An Invitation for the Future, at 7:30 p.m., August 7, at Yoga Now.
A renowned author, social innovator and visionary, Hubbard has been called, “the voice for conscious evolution of our time,” by Deepak Chopra. She is the co-founder and president of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution. Her new documentary is titled American Visionary: The Life Story of Barbara Marx Hubbard.
CEC will also honor local organizations that foster the work of conscious evolution. The evening will begin with a singing bowl performance by Yolanda Lozano and conclude with a celebratory journey dance with Daisy Rojas. There will be a dessert table and individuals may bring a snack or dessert to share.
