TheosoFest Presents the Mind, Body and Spirit Festival

The Theosophical Society in America will host the 16th annual TheosoFest Mind, Body and Spirit Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 10, at their national headquarters, in Wheaton. Open to the community, this free, family-friendly event celebrates the wisdom of the ages, the unity of all life and spiritual transformation.

      Attracting more than 2,000 people annually, the festival takes place on the society’s 40 acres of landscaped grounds, featuring a world-class library, the Quest Book Shop, an outdoor labyrinth and the Buddha Meditation Garden. Visitors can learn about meditative practices from many traditions and experts; stroll through the labyrinth; try qigong, yoga and tai ji; participate in a drum circle; or visit the Kids Korner. Vendors will be on hand offering demonstrations and food samples from India Palace Restaurant, Bricks Wood Fired Pizza and more.

      The festival will open with prayers from the world traditions, followed by several presentations throughout the day. Topics include The Truth About Death and Reincarnation Revealed, with Ruben Cabigting; The Path to Awakening: An Integral View, with Bill Epperly, Ph.D.; Meditation on Impermanence, with Juliana Cesano; Native American Spirituality: Connecting with the Earth, with Quentin Young; Dharma: The Way to a Meaningful Life, with Hersh Khetarpal; and many more.
