Adler Joins Staff at Yoga Bent

Stephanie Adler has joined the staff of Yoga Bent Studio, in Highland Park, and is teaching Mighty Body Band and other classes. Adler completed her Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification in 2004 and assisted Daren Friesen, the owner of Moksha Yoga, with teacher training in 2005-2006. She practices various styles of yoga, such as hatha, Iyengar, ashtanga, anusara and most recently, has added hot yoga to her repertoire.

Adler states, “Yoga is my passion. For some, it’s simply a means of relaxation, but for me, it’s a way of life. Ten years ago, while pregnant with my second child, I discovered the internal benefits and external joys of yoga. Having been a gymnast, dancer and cheerleader during my childhood and teenage years, yoga was something that felt amazingly freeing and immediately provided me a sense of calm interconnection. I was hooked.”

Location: 1630 Old Deerfield Rd., Ste. 208, Highland Park. For more information and a class schedule, call 847-831-1515 or visit YogaBent.com.
