Appreciate the Holiday Season at Abundant Life Spiritual Center

Abundant Life Spiritual Center is a Unity center in Deerfield for people who consider themselves spiritual, but not religious, offering many ways to find peace, joy and true meaning this season. The Center will host a meditation hour, The “I” of the Holiday Storm, at 7 p.m., December 11. Then a soulful Christmas story with music will be told from a metaphysical point of view at 5 p.m., December 24. And to bring in the new, a Burning Bowl ceremony at 10:30 a.m., January 4, 2015, provides an opportunity to release all the unwanted thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve us.

Founder and spiritual director Rev. Carol Saunders states, “Consider what you want this holiday season. There is usually so much going on around us that we are challenged to find enough space in our lives to find meaning and true joy. In the middle of your day, stop. Listen. Notice. No matter what your religious background is, we make the meaning of the Christmas story come alive through you.”
