Networking and Women’s Spa Day at Whole Self Nourish Day

Whole Self Nourish Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., February 20, at the Grillhouse by David Burke, in Schaumburg.  Refreshments will be served throughout the day, with a cash bar and networking at the conclusion. The Wellness Experience includes presentations by Charisse Sisou, of Claim Your Feminine, on movement; Julie Ostrow, of Find the Funny, on stress relief; and Elizabeth Gronert, of Comfort for Life, on embracing the physical changes of aging.

The Inner You Experience includes presentations by Christine Suva, of Thrive Coach Service, on passion; and life architect Denise Hansard on purpose. Shannon Bednowicz, a Chicago professional coach, will lead an interactive Speed Confidence-Building workshop. The Spa & Beauty Experience will feature more than 15 practitioners offering beauty, relaxation and wellness experiences, including image consultations on hair, makeup and clothing; brow waxing; natural manicures; massage; acupuncture; reiki; and chakra balancing.

Bednowicz has created an event where spa day meets women’s networking retreat. “Not another expo, not a vendor fair, not a girls’ day out,” she says.
