Learn How to Become a Published Author with Hay House

Hay House Publishing is holding a weekend for writers March 21 and 22, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, in Rosemont. The Writer’s Workshop gives participants an opportunity to learn from the industry’s best, including Hay House CEO Reid Tracy, New York Times bestselling author Mike Dooley and former Hay House Events Director, author and integrative coach Nancy Levin as they share their combined 50 years of publishing experience in four information-packed sessions.

The Writers Workshop teaches authors how to organize their thoughts into a book; rewrite and refine their work; handle rejections from publishers; manifest determination to publish their book; get a publisher’s attention; find an agent; write a book proposal; and contact the news media about their book

Students will view exclusive videos of Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue and other authors as they share their writing process, how they first got published and the secrets that led to their publishing success. One participant is guaranteed a $10,000 advance and a publishing contract with Hay House.

Cost is from $450 to $550; bonus offers for registration by Feb. 22. For more information and reservations, visit HayHouse.com/writers-workshop-chicago-2015-event. Enter for your chance to win a free weekend pass at NAChicagoNorth.com/CHI/Contests.
