Shop, Learn, Play and Adopt at Windy City Pet Expo

The annual Windy City Pet Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 19, at Addison’s Odeum Expo Center, with more than 135 exhibitors, prize giveaways and fun for pets and their people. Dozens of rescue groups will be represented at this mega-adoption event.

Other highlights include discounted vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm and flea preventatives, free nail trims, agility demonstrations, live entertainment, obedience demonstrations, author readings/book signings and the latest and greatest pet products. The event features pet supplies and vendors that run the gamut from holistic and natural to conventional.

Local and nationally recognized veterinarians, groomers and trainers will be on hand with presentations such as About Pet Care, Volunteerism, Grooming, Pet Behavior and Training, Traveling with Your Pet, How You Can Make a Difference, Different Types of Pets/Breeds, Veterinarian FAQ and Fun Activities for You and Your Pet.

Pets on a fixed lead or in a carrier with proof of age-appropriate vaccinations are welcome to bring their human family and friends.
