Green City Market (GCM) will hold the 18th annual Chef BBQ in Lincoln Park, highlighting the best of the Midwest with Chicago’s top chefs, craft beverages and local ingredients. The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m., July 18, with VIP access starting at 4:30 p.m. All proceeds from the fundraiser support GCM programs, including its year-round market, edible education programs and food access initiatives like Link Matching.

Chef BBQ is one of Chicago’s most anticipated food events of the summer, helping to create the bridge between our food sources and food providers. Midwest farmers and Chicago’s top chefs are able to work together for the creation of local and sustainable food.

More than 100 of Chicago’s top restaurants and beverage purveyors provide tasting portions of local, sustainable heirloom produce, heritage meats and craft beverages mainly sourced from GCM farmers. More than 2,000 attendees get to interact with local chefs and mixologists while enjoying market-inspired creations.

General admission: $125. VIP reserved seating: $275. Cabanas are available. Location: 1817 N. Clark, across from Hotel Lincoln. Tickets may be purchased at Tinyurl.com/2019MarketChefBBQ. For more information, visit GreenCityMarket.org.
